Recruiting is so-so in the Leeds School of Business. There is a valuable tool
called "Buffalo Trak" that serves as an online resume submission and job finding
service. There are two big career fairs - one in the fall and one in the spring.
These are somewhat helpful, but usually don't result in serious job prospects.
The Accounting and Finance programs are a step above the others in terms of on
campus recruiting. There are a barrage of on-campus interviews in the fall and
spring for students in Accounting and Finance. Firms like Wachovia, Earnst and
Young, PWC, Merrill Lynch, and others conduct interviews. There seems to be a
complete lack of this kind of recruiting for management, marketing, and systems
majors.
