| Full-time Undergraduate program |
There are opportunities for jobs and internships throughout the school-year. [I
myself had many.] These jobs could be in any industry and field of study. [As an
undergraduate history major, I was the pt-Assistant Data Manager with the
Laboratory for Astrophysics and Space Research on campus -- a NASA-funded
institution.] Many employers come to campus to recruit and the career placement
services routinely connect alumni with students to discuss careers. [I have
hosted many students at my job and at receptions.] The University of Chicago
name careers prestige with employers who expect great things out of the students
from the school. The Career Counseling and Placement office was instrumental to
me early on in developing my resume, interview style, and connecting me with
contacts. While I haven't used them, personally, I know they're there for me.
