| Full-time undergraduate program |
Fill out a University of California application and tell them which of
the UC campuses you are applying for. The central location then makes a
copy of your application, personal statement, letters of recommendation,
and test scores and sends the same copies to each campus you are
applying to. The higher your G.P.A. the lower your test scores need to
be. However, the higher both your GPA and test scores are the more
competitive you are. Especially now with what is called the Tidal Wave,
where there are a lot more applicants then in years past, and there are
more applicants then there is space. If your test scores and GPA are
not that high you have a better chance of getting in by applying with a
uncommon major, such as history. It is harder to get in with popular
majors such as engineering. Once you are in the school, you can always
change your major.
