Again, continuing with the same theme, social life depends on the
student. There are hundreds of clubs on campus. Everyday many clubs
have tables in the courtyard, passing out flyers and talking to people
about their club. There are clubs for everyone. You name it, Berkeley
has it.
Berkeley has an extensive Greek system, creating a network for the
Greek community. There are sororities and fraternities with all
different kinds of reason for existence, from business to social
fraternities.
Around Berkeley, there are a number of bars for students to just get a
beer or watch a sports game. There is one bar on campus for those who
want to get drink before class. Two bars close to campus, Henry's and
Kip's, offer special nights. For example, you will see a packed Henry's
on a Tuesday night because of its 2 for 1 deal.
There are plenty of restaurants around campus that serve a variety of
cuisines, from Ethiopian to old fashion American. There are also many
cafes for students to grab coffee or sit and study.
There are numerous events at Berkeley. The school has a Greek Theatre
