The quality of life is rather high at the university, campus life is
full of activity that you would expect from a PAC-10 school. Beyond
campus and the university community Tucson as a city might leave a
little to be desired yet is imrpoving itself drastically over the past
few years. Housing is easily accessible, crime and safety are rather
high and dinning places are growing dramatically, similar to many large
growth areas in the western US. The cost of living in Tucson and even
around campus is dramatically low, especially when compared to our
western neighbor California and even when compared to Phoenix. Overall,
you can't beat the weather here in Tucson where t-shirts, shorts, skirts
and sandals are the norm almost year round.
