UAH is considered a "commuter school" and thus, many (including myself)
believe there was (is) a lack of signifcant social life outside of class.
There are a variety of Greek Organizations as well as academic clubs on
campus. The local bar scene is well varied with one or two upscale
restaurant bars downtown. Plenty of high quality local and chain
restaurants are within a 1 mile drive of the campus.
