Tulane University students are able to boast about having the best
social life in college. Located in New Orleans, it is inevitable to
avoid the culture, including the food, drink, music, nightlight,
weather, and Mardi Gras. While there are a myriad of activities to
particpate in on campus, the city itself offers never-ending adventures
for Tulane Students. There are more bars than you can count in New
Orleans, and it becomes evident upon the first weeks of school where the
college kids hang out. The food in New Orleans is unlike any other in
the world, and luckily there are nearly 50 great restaurants within
walking distance of Tulane. Tulane sponsors many notable speakers and
events on campus, ranging from Jimmy Fallon to Gerri Adams. Whatever
you're interested in, Tulane has a club for it. Student organizations
and intramural sports are very prominant on campus. Tulane does have a
Greek system and about 40% of the studen body is greek. The Greek
community is very active on campus and in the community and sponsors
many parties on the weekends.
