The admission process for attending Tulane often begins with a campus
representative visiting your high school. Since 75% of the student body
come from more than 500 miles away, Tulane sends admission reps
throughout the country. Interviews are not required for admission, but
are available for those who are interested. Tulane offers early
decision, early action, and regular decision admission. Tulane accepts
the common application and also offers its own application with a
relatively straight-forward essay question. Students who desire to
enroll in the business school must apply their sophomore year at Tulane
and are usually accepted. Tulane is ranked in the top 50 for
undergraduate education and admission is selective. The average SAT
range for incoming students is from 1260-1390.
