The schools social life was great for me, but I also met a great group
of friends...as did most people. I would say that there is a small
greek population--that can be exclusive at times--but most people are
very open to meeting new people and trying different things. During
freshman and sophomore years, we mostly went to the Frats for our
nights out, but by later in college we were not interested in sweaty
college freshman and went to the bars in Davis Square which was not
very far at all (walkable). There are tons of great restuarants in the
area--mostly in Davis Square and there is a great variety of
foods...everyone can find something. The dating scene at Tufts has
something to be desired. It is a saying on campus that everyone has a
boy/girlfriend at a different school. Everyone complains, but I think
that in the end, the dating scene is fine...just like anyother school.
There are lots of clubs to be involved in, and most people are...it is
a great way to meet people and a great way to help the community. LCS
is the biggest organization on campus and they do a huge number of
events throughout the year...everyone gets involved.
