Depending on what your career interests are, Tufts can be a lot of help. If you
are interested in teaching, teaching abroad, non-profit activities and the like,
then Tufts has many connections, and generally it is relatively easy to find a
job. However, if you're interested in any sort of business pursuit, Tufts
provides almost no help. They fail to attract many financial services or
consulting companies, and few, if any, big companies recruit at Tufts. Because
Tufts does not have a business program, this seems to hurt the name at times,
however, many times employers to recognize the stature of Tufts. The career
counseling sometimes seems like they don't care at all about you, and that they
are just following a guide on how to give advice.
