I applied first round early decision, so my admissions process was
considerably shorter and easier than most people's. I filled out the
common application as well as writing a supplemental essay. I think
that I was a stronger candidate due to my athletic abilities and
interest in playing a college sport. I did have an interview, but it
was more after the fact. I knew that they had already made decisions
by the time I had my interview, but it was still nice to meet an alum.
Making yourself different from others is big at Tufts. It is a very
diverse school and wants to stay that way.
