You can get into trouble in Syracuse. It is a college town. A block
from the main campus is Marshall Street which features some clothing
stores, restaurants, and bars. If you have a somewhat of a decent fake
ID, you can get into certain bars. Downtown Syracuse is a $6 cab ride
away - with more stores, restaurants, clubs, and more bars (but beware
of townies here). Greek life is big but not necessary to have an active
social life. There are clubs (academic, cultural, atlethic) for just
about everything. During football season, game day is very popular -
tailgaiting is a must.
Many events. Plays and concerts are frequent. Alumni Weekend, Parent's
Weekend. Commencement is a 3 day event.
