Full-time Undergraduate Program On-campus housing is required for the first two years of college. All Freshmen dorms are attached to dining halls (the food is generally not tasty but it is somewhat edible). But there are several snack shops throughout several academic buildings as well as two major dining facilties featuring fast-food vendors. All dorms have laundry facilities, as well as resident advisors on each floor that on the average generally try to help out their residents. During night hours all ids are checked and visitors must be signed in. Dorms tend to be clean and safe. Some dorm floors meet specific needs - such as a quiet floor or a diversity floor. However, most tend to be loud. Parking on-campus is very expensive, and freshmen are not allowed to have cars. There are sevral gyms. Right off main campus, there blocks of student houses including frat and sorority houses, that tend to be a bit roudy (lots of parties) and are subject to break-ins. Muggings are also frequent on week-end late nights.
