Saratoga is riddled with bars and places to eat. I believe it has the most bars
per capita out of any college town in the US.
But, with no Greek System, and no major sports teams as Skidmore (two things
that keep Skidmore the cozy college campus
that it is) sometimes the bars are needed. Desperate Annies (DA's) is a
favorite amongst the college crowd because it is
known for being the hardest bar to get into underage. This makes it the place
to go once you are actually 21. Skidmore also
has a ton (over 100 I believe) of clubs and organizations. Some of the
favorites are the stellar A Capella groups, the dance
troupes and the Theater groups.
