Admission & Application Survey |
| Full time under graduate |
The admissions process was relatively easy, especially with the advent
of telephone registration. The counsellors were top notch; as an
example, I had already been admitted to the Business faculty. However,
due to their mistake, I was missing an entire elective course. Rather
than "kick me out" of the faculty, the counsellor made me a deal;
immediately sign up for the missing elective, pass, and therefore remain
in the faculty or remove myself from the faculty. Of course, I chose the
former. Even though this was clearly against guidelines and procedures,
there was a sense of common sense that prevailed here. I was missing a
general elective, and I had already signed up for my regular business
courses. It would not have made sense to ask me to leave, especially
since they were the ones who made the mistake. I thought this incident
epitomizes the great staff that worked there.
