The quality of life at the university is very good. The school provides
lots of activities all year round. The city is active and lively but not
like NYC or LA or other big cities. The college, the community, and city
offers diverse activities.
The housing situation is ok, but it has shown major signs of
improvement. There is still over capacity dorms but it looks like it
will be thing of the past within a few years. The school has build and
is continuing to build lots of apartment style housing for all students.
Housing outside of the university is cheaper and better, the only
problem is that you need a car for there is little public
transportation.
With regards to crime and safety, lets just say, the biggest problem is
littering. The school is very safe and the town it is in is one of the
safest in America. One thing though, the police will bother you for
every little thing, for they have no crime to deal with.
