I was President of my sorority. Greek life is fun at Albany, although
not necessary to have a social life. I live with girls who were not in
my sorority so I had the best of both worlds. Albany does not have
Greek housing (Local laws prevent this) but there is a section in
downtown Albany that students move to when they move off campus. I was
also Vice President of Dance Council, which is a student run group that
puts on a performance every spring semester. There was always a good
social scene at Albany - even when it's -10 outside the students always
find a reason to party.
