I interviewed on-campus at a job fair with a Fortune 500 Company. All in all,
Rutgers does attempt to assist its students with career placement but a student
must be dilligent in finding the support necessary to land the best positions.
I was very impressed by how well my Rutgers degree was viewed by prospective
employers. Although Rutgers is not very selective, due in part to its status as
a State university, I found that having Rutgers University on my resume is viewed
very positively by prospective employers. A few interviewers made teh mistake of
thinking the Rutgers is an Ivy League school.
