Rutgers had a rolling admissions process when i applied back in
novemner of 1996 (my senior year of high school). at that time the
application was by far the easiest i had completed and the shortest, as
Rutgers was my safety school. From what i remember the application
consisted of my transcript, filing out some personal information, and
having my SATs sent to the school. there was no essay, and no
questions requiring thought on the application. admission was based
solely on GPA and SAT scores. i mailed my application out in late
November and had an acceptance letter and award notification for
scholarships in the middle of december. By far the easiest application
around. in any case, since rutgers is a state school, they adhere to
affirmative action quotas. so, rutgers college is definitly harder to
get into being a white male. In other words, if you are a minority and
your scores are a lower you may be admitted just because you are a
minority. Sounds absurd....right?? Anyway, Rutgers is a very diverse
school in regards to ethnicities and so forth.
