I transferred to Rutgers after my freshman year of college. I had
applied to Rutgers college with a 3.1 GPA from my freshman year at
Baylor University, and wasn't accepted until mid-summer prior to my
sophomore year. Rutgers College is one of the most selective of the
colleges within Rutgers University. Once I was accepted, most of my
credits transferred. However, I had to speak to the head of the
history department and present a syllabus and a paper I had written for
a specific course to get it to transfer.
