I transferrred to a state school. Getting in was easy. No interview, my
essay was handwritten since I didn't have a computer and I chose not to
answer the essay question on the grounds that it was personal and did not
know who the answer was going to. The question was merely, explain gaps
in your education history. They accepted me, I felt because it was a
state school and I lived in NJ, went to NJ high schools and NJ community
colleges. They were not selective and I was glad because I was a poor
student and felt they really saved me, gave me a chance to show I could
do it. When I got there, they gave me A's and I was shocked.
