The campus is beautiful and there are several different housing areas.
The dorms are standard, with 2 to a room for the most part. The only
problem being that many new students spend the first few weeks of the
semester in cots in the dorm study halls until they figure out where to
place everyone. This happened to people in my dorm both years I lived
there.
The cafeteria food was much better than expected, offering a wide variety
of choices, including at least 2 entrees, salad and sandwich bar and
soups everyday. There are also other "restaurants" on campus that you can
use your dining points in.
There is a wide variety of places to study or research. The library is
huge with all the information you should need there. There are also a
variety of study and common areas where you can study, garb a bite to
eat, or just hang out in between classes or in the evenings.
I was very impressed with the safety of the campus when I was there. The
campus is very large and I spent many nights working until midnight or
later at the arts buildings. There is an escort service available at any
time to women who would prefer not to walk home in the dark. If you live
on campus, an escort will come and walk you to your dorm. If you live off
campus, the college will send a taxi to shuttle you home,
