There is a huge amount of companies, large and small that come to Penn State to
interview students before graduation. Interview opportunities are posted ahead
of
time and you can apply to be interviewd. Unfortunately, not one of the companies
that came to PSU when I was ready to find a job, came looking for people in my
major, (Art with a photography concentration). When I inquired about it at the
job placement center, they simply told me that they don't have anyone for me to
interview with in my field and could only offer me help with my resume. This was
very disappointing and I feel that PSU puts a lot of /majorseffort into career
placement, but it is centered mainly on only a few areas.
