Pace University has a very good Career Program. After your freshman year, you
are encouraged to enroll in Co-op/Career services which is a program to help you
get jobs and internships during school. You are given sessions to help you learn
how to write the best resume, what to do and say during interviews, how to dress
for an interview, and even have the opportunity to have a mock interview with one
of the counselors.
During your senior year, you will be enrolled in Career Center which has many
tools to help you find the right job after graduation. You are able to log-in to
the Pace Network and apply for jobs and research companies which you may be
interested in.
Twice a year Pace University has a career fair. One for graduating senior and
one for alumni. Each Career fair includes Fortune 500 companies such as Smith
Barney, Citigroup, PriceWaterCoopers, etc. Each career fair includes about 100
Employers, sometimes more. They are very personal with us and we learn much about
the companies where we have opportunities.
There is a high employment rate with graduates from Pace. More than half of the
student population graduate with jobs and about a quarter go forward to graduate
school.
