Employment Prospects Survey
Full-time undergraduate program The program I was in at Ohio Wesleyan worked very well with all the community mental health organizations and internships of a high quality were easily ascertained. Ohio Wesleyan as a whole did not place a very high emphasis on job and career placement as the university claimed that close to half of its graduates went on for advanced degrees. The biggest let down for me was the fact that in Ohio, a person has to have at least a Masters Degree in order to become licensed to do counseling. This seriously limits what a person can do with a bachelors in psychology. OWU did try to accommodate for that by getting people very ready for grad school.
