If students take advantage of the Career Center, it can be extremely helpful for
them. I have gone to workshops, career fairs, and had conferences with the
advisors, and have received great advice from them that is helping me in my job
search. The counselors go through great lengths to set students (who pursue it)
up with alumni, or internships. The "Walk in my Shoes" program pairs up students
with a professional in the field in which the student is interested for a day of
shadowing. I will be doing it for the first time next month.
