I graduated from the Mathematical Methods in the Social Scienses program and
felt that it prepared me well to enter the workforce upon graduation. Students
in my program are heavily recruited by consulting firms and investment banks for
this exact reason - the program emphasizes classes and skills with practical
applications to the workplace.
The career office is very resourceful in brining companies to campus and getting
undergraduates placed. The close ties to Kellogg certainly help. They are also
quite good at sponsoring interviewing workshops, case study workshops, resume
reviews, etc.
