Admission & Application Survey
Full-time undergraduate program The admissions process is similar to an Ivy league school. An essay of your choice from three is given as well as six other short answer topics. Two letters of recommendation are required. An interview is not required for some schools, but it is for others like the School of Music. It would be an added benefit to interview if that is one of your strenghts. The selectivity is increasing becuase more people are applying to the school. It is harder to get into School of Music, Speech, or Journalism than the School of Arts and Sciences, but once you get in you can easily move around between schools. You apply to a specific school so this is something to keep in mind. It is important to have a well rounded background, high test scores and something to contribute to the school.
