Northeastern is a great way to start off your career thanks to the well
established co-op program. Even during tough economic times it did well placing
kids with some good companies. We have internships with top firms such as Boston
Consulting, GE, and we have small internships where you can get a small company
feel. The employees come back for NU kids every semester, which says a lot. The
co-op program can make you cry from frustation and happiness when you get that 6
month internship paying $18 an hour and a full week of paid vacation. After
college many kids go back to companies they co-oped with. I am graduating this
year and the career services is trying their best to network for post grad jobs.
I am quite impressed. The resources are here if you are willing to use them. We
do have many career fairs for almost all of our majors throughout the semesters.
Many kids get their jobs here or at least network.
