When I applied, the process was relatively straight-forward and not
exactly grueling. There was a standard application asking for the basic
information (i.e. personal data, high school information, activities,
interests), one letter of recommendation, SAT scores, and a very generic
essay. Northeastern offered an open house in the spring, but there was
no required interview.
If you applied before January, you were eligible to be considered for
the Ell Scholarship, which covered tuition and room and board for your 5
years at the university.
