Social Life:
Varies greatly. The colleges within the university seem to encourage
college specific groups of friends.
However, you're in NYC. So, there's always something to do...be it K-
Town, China town, clubbing, museums, etc. you name it.
Dating Scene:
60% women, 40% men (of whom a sizeable minority is gay) So, there's
definately of women to pick from...but fewer guys I guess.
Clubs:
We seruously have everything in NYU. Stern has a wealth of professional
clubs which bring in employers and such and CAS has all sorts of
organizations for different interests---from martial arts
to "Alternative lifestyles"
Greek System:
Quite poor. I believe only 10% of the student body are in
frats/sororities. They don;t have houses either. They have floors in
dorms.
