One problem with NYU is that classes fill up very easily, especially in
competitive programs like Journalism. Students must receive access codes
in order to register for classes, which can be difficult. I have often
had to wait several semesters to take a required class because of this.
The workload is comparable to that of an honors high school class, but
much more is done independantly, with class time being spent on
discussion and lecture rather than reviewing homework or examples.
