I feel that NYU has many recruiters come to recruit for both majors. Also, companies tend to like hiring NYU grads, especially for Actuarial Science. We have a really strong program that is recognized in the workplace for my major. An added plus is that the professors that teach the Actuarial Science classes are extremely helpful and are very good at teaching difficult concepts. Our program also helps aspiring actuaries prepare for the actuarial exams given by the SOA/CAS.
