There are a lot of firms that post jobs to SJU students. Each college does have a variety of credit-only internships available to students to apply for. Each college also has numerous job fairs. Big name companies such as Goldman Sachs, Eli Lilly and Verizon do recruit SJU students. If you are an individual looking to become an investment banker at a big firm, forget about that. Goldman Sachs, Bear Stearns and JP Morgan do make jobs available to SJU students, but only in Operations. I must say that being a Finance major looking to get involved in Wall St, I was having a difficult time getting in the door until I realized how many SJU alumni work on Wall St. Networking with so many SJU alumni has been the key to my success. I have more luck networking with alumni than I using the Career Center.
