| Full-time undergradute program |
Morehouse College is like a labor market. Their are two tiers, primary and
secondary. Getting into the primary tier is a function of both academic
accomplishments and on some level, schmoozing. The job opportunities are diverse
and plentiful. I had internships on both the buy side and the sell side as well
as high level nonprofit. In addition, the top tier graduate programs (for any
field) are interested in the students. In a recent Wall St. Journal article,
Morehouse ranked 29th in the total amount of its graduate students attending ivy
league institutions per year.In addition, companies such as Goldman Sachs, Morgan
Stanley, Merrill Lynch, Glaxo Smith Kline, McKinsey, etc. recruit heavily and
often.
However, if you are in the second tier (GPA<3.0), I would advice a switch to a
larger state school because you will find $22,000/year wasted.
