MIT isn't a fun place to be but you can have fun there. If you want to
enjoy yourself, you can because Boston is the greatest city in the world
to go to school. There is a very strong fraternity system at school and
while freshman must live in dorms, rush starts just weeks after arriving
on campus. Fraternities range all over the map, just like in Revenge of
the Nerds, there are Lamda Lamda houses and party houses and the parties
are actaully pretty good because of the many other colleges the parties
draw women from, such as Wellesley, BU, and Simmons. There aren't that
many school sponsored functions or even bars on campus but being so
close to Boston there are always options for going out.
