The Academy is located on one of the most picturesque locations in
Massachusetts at the southern tip of the Cape Cod Canal. The location,
known as Taylors Point, is surrounded by ocean on three sides: the
canal, the Atlantic and Buttermilk Bay. The famous Cape Cod Canal
railraod bridge is within sight and walking distance of the academy.
The dorms, classrooms and grounds have undergone significant renovations
and improvements in te past 4 years and the Academy recently took
delivery of the new 500+ foot training vessel. The town of
Bourne/Buzzards Bay is a small, safe and somewhat isolated town at the
beginning of Cape Cod. There are plenty of restaurants,
walking/jogging/biking trails in and around the campus. Boston is a 45-
50 drive from the Academy.
