The Greek system is not big at Marquette and therefore there is no
separation between Greeks and non-Greeks. The social scene is active
with plenty to do, both on campus and off. Bars and resturants are
within walking distance of campus, and some bars are quite strict on
being of age. Murphy's is a popular hangout. Frequent social events and
activities make is easy to meet people and to get involved in campus
life. I'd say 60% of the student body is Catholic. Mass is popular, but
not required. Many Marquette grads marry soon after graduation and stay
in the Milwaukee/Green Bay/Chicago area.
