MU is beautiful. The campus is great. Although you are in downtown
Milwaukee, when you are in the classroom area, you really cannot tell.
It has a lot of charachter and it's only getting better with all the new
additions in the past couple of years.
Housing requirements are that you live in the dorms for at least two
years and then you can seek off campus housing. Dorms are fine depeding
on which ones you get into. OD- all guys boring! Cobeen- All girls
Schroeder (great sophmore dorm- LOTS OF PARTIES HERE) Tower- Sophmore
coed (okay, but not as lively as schroeder) East- Heard it's nice.
McCormick- Freshmen version of Schroeder.
Offcampus housing is abundant and cheap! Neighborhood is okay. It
boarders some bad parts, but MU provides a shuttle service anywhere on
campus and there are always public safety etc. Never had a problem.
Dining... sucks when you are in the dorm. You think the food is
horrible, however in hindsight it's really not that bad. Especially, we
you no longer live in the dorms and are starving! It sounds pretty good
then.
