The quality of life is mixed. The campus is in the inner-city of
Milwaukee, but there are some beautiful parts of campus. Some of the
student dorms and campus housing is very good, but some is bleak.
Interested students should do what they can to be placed in preferred
housing. If you want to save money you can find very cheap housing is
less desirable neighborhoods, but I wouldn't recommend it for women.
Every year there is an event, but it usually (but not always) involves
careless students. There is student transportation, University employed
students on public safety foot-patrol and public safety in police-type cars.
