Kenyon works to maintain a balance between the traditional
(stereotypical?) college life of frats and sororities, as well as
more "cultured" social outings, including a thriving student-run
theater, music, and sketch comedy scene. Less than half of the student
body is greek (including two gender-inclusive groups), although their
historical role on campus is worthy of note. Still, themed parties are
common (e.g., the swimmer's "Shock your Mother" party) and the school-
sponsored extravaganza every February never fails to entertain.
