Kenyon will teach you how to write - whether you study math or chemistry or
anthropology or English. It is one of the most useful skills on the marketplace,
and one of the most rare these days. The college provides a large number of
graduates in businesses of various sorts that are willing to have an intern, and
Kenyon graduates seem to do just about everything from editing newpapers to
becoming pastry chefs, so this is a valuable resource and should be utilized.
The college will prepare you for anything, including law or medical school, PhD
work in various fields, business, teaching, photographing you name it, there are
people doing it. A certain amount of campus recruiting takes place, but most job
hunting is done through the careers service. Kenyon networking is excellent, and
you might find yourself invited to stay with Kenyon alums all over the world, if
you run into them in far-away places.
