Kent was a suitcase campus- Because of it's proximity to Akron,
Cleveland and Youngstown, students were either commuters or preferred
to go home on the weekends. I hated that. It effects school spirit and
camraderie negatively. I was expecting an Ohio State Unversity
atmosphere. EAveryhting was ok I guess, but not too much to get fired-
up about. I understand that now they're spending millions on housing,
dining halls, etc and have a new, huge fitness center, etc- they
continue to grow and flourish.... I was never thrilled though.
