| Full-time undergrad program |
I graduated from KSU with a journalism/mass comm degree with a broadcast
emphasis. KU and MU are both nearby and have tremendous journalism programs (both
school are well-known for their J-schools, actually), and KSU can't measure up to
either school in the broadcast category. The print journalism degree is a good
choice, and the advertising/PR degrees have great classes and connected
professors. But honestly, KU and MU deliver better internship opps and prestige
with employers in this career field, both locally and nationally.
