Johnson & Wales considers themselves to be America's Career University and I
believe that they live up to that name. There were many opportunities for
internships, co-operative experiences and extra-curricular activities relating
directly to your major. We also had to take a few career-oriented courses that
I
feel came to be very useful. There were also numerous career-fairs each year,
including smaller, more specific fairs for different majors. I feel that
Johnson
& Wales has a very good reputation with employers, especially in the hospitality
industry. I haven't gone on an interview yet where the employer wasn't
impressed
with the name and eager to hear about my experiences there.
