I did not know about Ithaca College when I applied to Emerson and
Syracuse Newhouse School. On a lark I stopped there before my other
interviews. I had called ahead and completed an application which I
mailed in advance, but I was clearly applying after the deadline. I was
also applying to the Television/Radio school which is very selective and
fils up quickly. I believe I was accepted because of the personal
interview. Ithaca is a very personable place and I am confident that
the interview sealed it. I also interned at a major ad agency in NYC
throughout high school. To get into the TV/R program you must show
interest in the industry via internships and special projects. As I
said, it is very competitive. After meeting with the represntative and
touring the campus I cancelled my interviews at Syracuse and Emerson and
