There is always something to do whether you are interested in the arts
and want to attend concerts, operas, etc...or if you are interested in
athletics there is always a Big Ten sporting event to attend. The
Greek system is rather large and sponsors many social events. In
Bloomington the town there are numerous bars which are popular hang-
outs for the college students. There are dance clubs to just Irish
pubs. Restaurants are varied. Several ethnicities are present as well
as formal dining. School favorites are the basketball season and
Little 500 biking race which the whole school participates in partying
and celebrating.
