| Full-time undergraduate program |
If you are not one of the few selected pre-admitted students to the
Kelley School of Business, you go through a traditional admission
program (application and essay), then apply for the school as soon as
core classes are completed. Admissions requirements for the university
itself are in the average to above average level, and as a state school,
residency still plays a large role (though this is declining and has
stirred controversy). After acceptance to the university, you will
enroll in large, impersonal business classes. The temptation to slack
on these classes is always present, but keep up at least a 3.0 if you
want to get in to the business school. An application is required that
takes into account your experiences thus far (and requires an essay). I
am not aware of any interview process, but this may have changed. They
are becoming increasingly selective, and extracurricular activities are
encouraged at this point.
