The social life was top notch. There was always something to do. For
those 21 and up there is a club called "Dream". For those under 21
there was DC Live. There is just a lot of club activity going on, and
there were plenty of parties. We pretty much had the same restaurants
as many other states, but this area called "Adams Morgan" offered a
variety of different cuisine, and I found it to be unique. There were
many campus events that we social, but more were educational, and I
liked that. The Greek system from my perspective was ok. It was
definitely nothing to write home about. And maybe that is because I am
not Greek, but from the many people I know that are they did not look as
if they enjoyd it at all. The process itself seemed to discrimanatory,
and it turned a lot of great people away. The Greek organization that
really impressed me the most was Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Beta
Chapter. They were very involved in and around campus, and they are
leaving a wonderful legacy as some graduate and more join.
