Harvard is right in the heart of Cambridge, which is a pretty
interesting place. It's not dangerous but not completely safe (very
rarely do students, say, get into fights with townies, but it does
happen). Less urban than Yale or Columbia but much more so than
Princeton. Most people just hang out on-campus though, where the
facilities are first-rate. Most people are on the meal plan all 4
years, and its actually decent food, and on certain occasions,
ridiculously lavish (ice sculptures, lobster, etc. on special days).
Gyms are a bit crowded, small and old compared to other schools I've
seen.
